Kid’s ski school lessons usually run in half day (am or pm) or full day programs starting around 9am. When taking your kids to ski school it is important to plan to get there early, there will be paperwork to fill out, and dragging children and ski gear can take more time than you think! Also check with the ski school at the resort that you’re going to before you leave, there may be a requirement for bookings, especially on busy weekends and during school holidays. Helmets are also required for children by most if not all ski schools in Australia. Children are divided into groups by ability level and age, and paired with instructors for the day.
Once you’ve dropped your kids off, you’re free to enjoy the slopes yourself until the pick-up time! Clarify what your lunch plans are (some ski schools allow you to meet your child for lunch, or some provide lunch for the kids) and know your kids are in safe, trained hands.
