Whether you have a lot or just a little money to spend on your snow trip, we have got options for you. Spend up big on top end gear, or find an economical solution, our friendly staff can give you advice when you need it most. Don't be fooled by other stores lack of choices - there's plenty of options here...
You can buy new gear and then recycle your gear. A great option when you have a few kids throug
h whom you can pass the gear down. New gear generally lasts longer and will have a better resale value at the end of its term. Then, for example, you recycle your gear and put the money towards new gear for the eldest child.
You can buy recycled and then recycle your gear. The most economical option if you 'buy well'. You can pick up some great recycled gear and then recycle it again after you've finished with it. If you 'buy well' sometimes you can even make money with this option. The best way to do this is to start looking early in the season when the recycled section is full of stock and the staff have plenty of time to run through everything you might need and all the options available.
You can hire your gear. The best option when you are taking your kids to the snow for the first time and don't know whether they will like it, or if it is a one-off trip for the year and your kids will grow by the next time they go skiing/snowboarding. Our hire clothing is rated at 10K/10K which means you will stay warm and dry regardless of the weather conditions. We recommend hire clothing if you are concerned about your kids being warm and dry while trying to stick to a budget.
You can participate in the buyback program. This is the best option if you want your kids to be skiing in equipment that is best suited to them every year. It is like hiring their equipment for the season but better because it is brand new gear. It is a great option for families who cannot always hand down equipment or people who wish to help their kids progress at the best possible rate. Making sure your kids are in the right size for them every year is important to us as every year we see parents trying to save a few dollars by trying to get a few years out of their kids equipment. Ill fitting equipment is dangerous and hinders your child's growth rate.
