Ski & Board Tuning

When your skis or snowboards come out of the factory, the bases are always ground flat, structured and waxed; the edges are sharpened to 90 degrees. Unfortunately this will not last forever. Usually, after just one week, your equipment will have base damage or burred edges. This will affect its performance.

Regular servicing of skis and boards helps to maintain your equipment and ensures good gliding even in poor conditions. Grinding opens the blocked surface pores of the ski, and ensures your skis base is perfectly flat. It is recommendable to grind the base at least once each season to increase the life span of the ski/board several years. Proper hot waxing should be done three to four times a season.

Regularly serviced equipment will make your skis and boards easier to use. This in turn will improve your confidence and performance and let you get the best out of your equipment!

We have a full service technicians workshop onsite for all your ski and snowboard servicing, tuning, boot fitting and boot modification needs. We have fully qualified technicians who will take care of your equipment in the highest possible way. Usually our ski technician comes in after hours to enjoy the peace and quiet while concentrating on servicing your gear. Express Servicing is available for an additional charge.

Patch Repair

If your base on your ski or snowboard has suffered serious damage we can put in a patch with similar material. A technician will advise you whether this can be done, as your equipment will require sufficient edge for the base to bond with.

Edge repair

If your edge has been damaged or broken it is possible to replace a section of the edge. A technician will advise you whether this can be done, as your equipment will require sufficient edge to align with. Please note that a repaired edge will not be as strong as the original edge.
